How factoring works
Get paid in days, not 30+
Brokers often take 30 days or more to pay. Fuel, insurance and repairs don't wait. Factoring closes the gap.
You deliver
Load dropped, POD signed.
You send the invoice
To the factoring company, not the broker.
They pay you
Most of the money in 1-2 days, minus a fee.
Broker pays them
30+ days later. Not your problem anymore.
What To Compare
- Fee
- A percentage of each invoice. Ask for the all-in number, not just the headline rate.
- Recourse or non-recourse
- Recourse: if a broker never pays, you owe it back. Non-recourse: they carry that loss (usually for a higher fee).
- Speed
- Same-day or next-day funding, and whether faster costs extra.
- Contract
- Monthly minimums, long terms or exit fees. Shorter and simpler is better.
- Extras
- Fuel advances, free credit checks on brokers before you book, an app for sending paperwork.
How our referral works
We point you, you decide
Tell us about your operation and we'll point you to factoring companies we trust, with the questions worth asking each one. If we receive anything from a factoring company for a referral, we'll tell you up front.
